Hot Damn!
I was on Yahoo Answers when I spotted someone asking if anyone knew who this bugger was. If it wasn't for the song her decided to cover, I wouldn't even bother finding out. I love the original classical piece, but this one rocks...literally.

GE2006
Once again I don't have to vote in this year's elections and I was quite sure I didn't have to when this came in the post:

Some people might find it a chore to go down to the polling station, register and mark the paper with an "X" but I'd rather go through the experience and set my own ideas about it.
Somehow every gathering now seems to bring out the topic concerning the GE as well as the people's thoughts on who might win and why, or their unhappiness with their own constituency or MP. I have only one answer and that is no one is contesting the GRC I live in and most probably no one will for a while to come.
I wonder sometimes if we could change the whole election process and vote out the ones we don't like ala "Survivor". If people feel so badly about their MP's then could we take a count of how many actually are unhappy when no one has contested the GRC for almost 20 years, maybe less or maybe more? The last time I went to the polling station was when my parents had to vote for something, and I think it resulted in Ong Teng Cheong taking the title of President. At least there are some changes going on in these parts of the woods though it seems that some of us might have been forgotten.
