Drama In The Cinema

Went out to Comex yesterday and didn't see much that got me interested except for the going price of Ipods. My 3rd generation 20Gb Ipod had cost more than what the 4th generation 60Gb Ipod is now selling for. Furthermore, there are a few freebies to choose from that's just simply making my hands itch.

Later, I met up with MJ and decided to check it out further at the Apple store, plus secretly make him yearn for it too! Fast forward to the point where we were bored and didn't have anything interesting to do @ Orchard. We were considering watching movies right from the start but didn't have any movie that really called out to us. In the end, we still ended up at Cineleisure and got tickets for Monster House. We were hoping for Barnyard but they didn't have one listed during that time of the night.

Finally we got into the theatre where it seems that we're not the only adults who watch cartoons (or animations since some people are prissy about it). As I was getting comfy, I noticed that the person behind me seems to either have super long legs or just can't sit still. It felt as though that bugger was kicking and pressing their feet against my chair, making me rock throughout the show. To make matters worse, the bugger's mouth couldn't stop "whispering" either. I was enduring the shit from the person behind and I think the person on my left also had that problem. Possibly she had the same thought I had that we'll just let these arseholes slide and not waste the money we had paid for the movie.

Well soon enough, someone (Poker) couldn't tolerate them any longer and asked them to keep quiet. These buggers still had the gall to raise their voice and argue back, even said something like that they had the right to talk loudly. Thank goodness my dad wasn't there. The argument somehow led to one person whacking the other for poking them in the eye (or so they claim), and the commotion just made everyone turn back to look. I was hoping that the usher would come in and get them out but then the woman (Screamer) just screamed for her husband (Slapper) to sit and calm down. Slapper kept asking the Poker if he wanted to bring the matter up with the police but Screamer just ask him to zip it and watch the movie. In the end, Poker went out and called the police, which came about 10 minutes later into the theatre to escort Slapper & Screamer out. During the whole time Poker was out, Slapper kept grumbling that he ought to sue Poker for poking him.

Can you say childish?

Slapper: "Mooooomeeeeeeee he poke me...See! See! I don't friend him already!"

Poker: "Maaaaaaa! He beat me... I don't want to friend him!"

I hope they get charged with something for disturbing MY peace!
