Even though the trainee might have done something which all may not be too happy about, I don't think there is a need to boycott the person in general.
If we're sharing food, why are you being so mean as to leave her out? The main thing is that we share the work load... so why bother leaving this person out, it'll end up with u taking on more because u're all well fed, while the trainee's energy is depleting fast. Don't act like she's got some disease either. Share work, share joy, share food, share drinks.
And checking the person's belongings when she's on her break is going a bit overboard too. Seriously... you can check her apron, but don't go to the extent that you want to open her locker!
Somehow I'm Disappointed.
