Mummy Trial?

I wonder if people realise that the murder victim they say is a very motherly person should be called 'mommy' instead of 'mummy'. But then again, articles about the murder victim seem to say that he always wrapped his head with scarves... so maybe 'mummy' might just be the appropriate term.
