Day 6: Do you care about what people think of you? Why is this?


No.

"Those that matter don't mind, and those that mind don't matter."

I think this quote sums it all up. People always have their opinions, and most of the time it's because they can't accept what they have in front of them in the first place.

If not for the fact that I grew up with a good supportive foundation, I probably would care about what people think of me, and most likely go mad from it.

Luckily, I was thought about another quote:

"Sticks and Stones may break my bones, but Words can never hurt me."

So I just didn't give about what people thought of me. It's also a great way to see if someone is truly your friend, or just one of those you throw into the acquaintance bin. Just like the case where someone told me they wanted to revamp my wardrobe. Well I didn't ask you to, and I don't intend to ever let you. Now I don't even wanna bother going out with that person. Nothing lost there really.
