White On The Outside....
My sis had basically planned out his whole trip here and the plan for the first night was to let him have dinner at Smith Street a.k.a. Chinatown's Food Street. As always, the unpredictable weather put a dampener on everything, literally, and we ended up at a place that served dim sum. Once we were all filled with the different little dishes, we headed towards Smith Street to give him a glimpse of what he would have had if it wasn't raining. Those who have gone there for dinner would know that there would be a bunch of acrobats performing at the corner and most of us wouldn't give a second glance unless u're a kid, a tourist or a lost Singaporean like my sister.

The second night was dinner with my sister's ex-classmates and friends. Knowing that I've not been to Blue Ginger, she asked if I'd like to tag along and did you think I said no? Anyhooo... the dinner looked like it was the battle of the boobs, with Tim being one of the contestants. After that it was fun at Balaclava to celebrate 2006 (a day late aren't they?), but more likely just to get a bit of alcohol in their systems. Tim also decided to test the waterproofing of my camera in the ice bucket.

The next time I see him is for dinner at Geylang and our first trip to Ministry Of Sound. That night we were taken on a tour by Geylang sewer rat, Marc, who brought us through the rather dodgy streets lined with prostitutes just waiting to grab Tim's hand. We also brought him for a really interesting dinner of frog's leg porridge and oyster omelette, with durian, rambutan, mangosteen and coconut for dessert. With all that junk in our stomachs, we were off to party at MOS.The Blue Ginger

The night before my sis and Tim leave for their tour of Malaysia and Thailand, we gave him a short tour of Little India and got some sweets for him to try. Since we were in the vacinity, we had some Indian food at The Banana Leaf Apolo restaurant along Race Course Road. Although the best dish there would have been the fish head curry, we didn't want to kill ourselves finishing just that one dish while we could enjoy a bunch more. Right after, we were off to get Tim's stuff from the 7th Storey Hotel and get him settled at our place so they could leave togerther in the morning. I'm not sure how Tim could sleep with a furry little friend demanding attention from him almost every minute.

When the two of them get back from their trip, Tim decided to make himself our adopted brother, giving us the right to torture him
. Well if you're going to live with us for the next few days, you'll get some sisterly love as well. By this time, he was quite good at using chopticks, holding them the proper way too! Later that night he became the entertainer for my cousin who thoroughly enjoyed every minute Tim was around.

Dinner this time was at Pasir Panjang Food Centre, with shellfish, snails and sting ray for dinner. I think Tim got scared at what he might have to gobble down and opted for a very safe chicken fried rice, which turned out to be the worst thing on the table that night. The great thing about Tim is that he's willing to try anything once, and sometimes twice, like in the case of the stubborn snail. After all the training for Fear Factor, we got some yummy, crispy, fried balls of ice cream.

For the last day he was with us, my sis and I got into a cheeky mood and took a shot of Tim in the shower, and getting a nice shot without having to censor anything. We then made our way to the airport to see Tim off to the next leg of his world tour but discover that his flight had been delayed 8 hours! Not bothered to go back to the city even for free lodging and a meal, we stayed around the airport, taking more pictures, mucking around and having one last friendly battle.
