From Television To Lunch Box

Was watching Rick Stein's Far East Odyssey on television when my sister got excited about a cured beef dish that is inspired by his trip to Cambodia. She even recorded the show just to make sure I will know how to make it and turn it into a salad for her. So without bothering to look of the proper recipe, I tried to follow as closely as I could to his instructions buy watching the segment a few times. As she can't eat bean sprouts and had to replace that and used spring onions which we already had. The most important thing was to get the beef cured in the lime and lemongrass mixture.

I tossed everything together and took some out for my sister's lunch. I then decide to have some for a midnight snack and found it went really well with a handful of baby spinach.

Om Nom Nom....
