As we were looking at the shops near Shane's place the other day, there were huge bottles of grape juice that looked more like wines. Looking at the label, it was actually juice from one of the varieties they made wine from. I decided to buy 2 different varieties and we opened one tonight while having some cheese instead of wine. The juice was really sweet. Sweeter than most juice boxes, but you don't get that sticky scratchy feeling you get when there's processed sugar in a drink. It's easy to realise why most sweet wines use this variety of grape as the base liquid. Now I'm wondering if I can get a sapling of this to grow back home.
