My Taste Of Chittering

During our first trip to Bindoon, we found out about an event called the Taste of Chittering, that was to be held today. I was not sure if I read the information wrong then, but the location was different than I first thought, but we still found it anyway. We made arrangements to meet with Alfred and his family, and ended up car pooling as my sister needed the car for the day.

The event was smaller than I expected, but it was still bigger than some farmers' markets we've been to. The event had a citrus theme to it, and there were quite a few people dressing themselves, as well as their stall, in citrusy colours. Strangely enough, I did not find much citrus-laced food and drinks other than freshly squeezed juices, or fresh cut fruit. In the end, we got quite a few non-citrus items, and only bought a bag of sweet red oranges and a bag mandarins for our citrus haul.

After getting my fill of what Chittering had to offer from the stalls, I found some prawn tacos to eat, and shared two drinks with dad. One was a Orange and Tangelo juice, while the other was an Orange Juice mixed with sparkling water. The drink were quite tart, but it went really well with the creamy dressing in the tacos.

Om Nom Nom...
