Sushi WAWA

My sister wanted to shop at Ikea today and decided to have dinner at Sushi WAWA, that currently has Perth's longest sushi conveyor belt. The place did not really look crowded, yet it was almost to full capacity when we entered. Seating was definitely well-spaced, and really good for someone with a big butt like me.

Most of the food was very nicely presented. There was a stray sushi or two that looked like they went on a white-water rafting trip on the conveyor. However, after my first bite of some dishes, I did not care if the topping or rice was falling apart as it slowly moved past me. I just took, and popped the little bites into my mouth.

The sashimi plate was really good, and probably one of the best I've had in Western Australia (W.A.). I absolutely loved how sweet the scallop was, yet still holding on to the light saltiness from the sea, as it just melted on my tongue. I also tried the Tas Lox roll, which had beetroot and cream cheese in the roll, topped with smoked salmon. It was different, and I would probably go there just to have that again, even though I took two plates of that that evening.

I would say this is currently my favourite place in W.A. for sushi.

Om Nom Nom...
