RIbs And Sides

Drovers had brought in quite a good selection of meats in July for some people who wanted to make "Christmas in July" parties, and one of them was nice slabs of pork ribs that were perfect for barbecues. During one of the meet ups with Alfred, we happen to discuss a possible rib party when my sister and Brendan came back from their trip, and it was set for today.

Since we were going to be out quite last yesterday, we got dad to boil the potatoes and par-cook his Bak-Kwa-flavoured ribs. We then came home rather early and I finished making the potato salad, while my sister made the pear and walnut salad. Alfred had the other half of the ribs and did it with an Orange-flavoured barbecue marinade.

It was a simple lunch, but absolutely satisfying.

Om Nom Nom...
