After getting extra supplies during our trip down to Margaret River, my sister had defrosted some venison mince and we needed to make use of it before it went bad. I was not very sure about what to do with it, and decided that pasta would probably be a good mix. Since deer meat does not have much fat, I had to add some in, and bacon was a tasty option. Other than adding bacon for some fatty goodness, it was a quick and easy meal to put together using tinned tomatoes, garlic, onion, baby spinach and a little red wine.
