I love my fried buns, and the best thing to go with it is chilli crab as most Singaporeans know. Sin Mui Heng then comes up with a chilli crab bun which was simply genius. They didn't recommend deep frying the buns, but I did, and I loved it. I don't know what it tastes like as a steamed bun as I fried the whole pack, and it was worth every bit of hot oil. Crispy, chewy, and really tasty. Would have been superb if there was real crab meat instead of surimi bits, but when you're feeling lazy but craving a simple chilli crab bite, this hits the spot.
Now I only have to bring a pack into Australia for that brother-in-law of mine to try.
