Stressful Internet

There have been a few people on Facebook that have "disappeared" occasionally for their own reasons and then, all of a sudden, they decide that they should make a come back. Some come back with a stage name, and some create new accounts to hide their real identity. Some even create the second account before they disable their first. I really don't understand these people.

If you find that you can't handle what happens on the social media site, how about just deleting everything and not coming back? There are options to block people you dislike, hide stuff from people you don't trust, and even the option not to follow the ones that post too much crap. There's always the button called "unfriend", which should be used for people you don't actually know. The whole site gives you options on how you want it to work for you and yet some people have to "take themselves away from the internet".

Seriously, if you need to get away, don't come back. You'll end up having to get away again. Plus if you need to "get away", starting a new account before you leave isn't exactly getting away.
