My cousin, Joanne, who currently lives in Canada, came back for a course and the first gathering we had was a little unplanned, and wasn't catered for. Furthermore, everyone was so busy catching up, there wasn't even time for a tour of the house.
After asking dad to make thosai, I thought that his whole pot of batter would feed the whole family and so another gathering was called. The plan was dad's thosai with mom 's curry, but we also planned for some other dishes to have with rice. So one last catch up a day before Joanne flies off to Shanghai, which also helped dad improve his thosai menu.
Other than Plain, Masala and Egg Thosai, there's now a Cheese Thosai!
